• Evocative maps that bring the locations to life.
• Full layout treatment and a physical edition.
• More locations, connections, and encounters.
• Altarstone fully fleshed out and ready for additional adventures.
• Procedures that integrate with the second edition of Cairn.

Three Goblin Markets

The idyllic village of Altarstone is in trouble. The village, dead center on a trading route, has prospered in recent years from their sale of goblin-made trinkets. Brave townsfolk from Altarstone make their way into the Murmuring Wood, seeking out the trickster goblins to trade with, fulfilling the strange requests they make and returning to the village with things strange and fascinating. Altarstone has flourished. Until now. The townsfolk that enter the wood aren't returning and the good will of passing merchants is beginning to dry up.

The Beast roams the woods, hunting everyone who enters. There are no surviving eye-witnesses to give testimony, no chance glances at the edge of the wood, and no wise sage to offer cryptic hints. Whatever it is, everyone can agree on one thing: it’s folly to stand against it.

The Altarstone Priests climb their big rock looking for answers. They can divine truths within the cracks for anyone willing to pay. Ivo, the head priest, has forseen a group coming, a group that may be able to help, a group that might save the village itself and defeat The Beast. They'll just have to venture forth into the woods and seek out the Three Goblin Markets.
